Esta nueva revisión no se trata de una versión espectacular que traiga novedosas características, sino más bien una especie de limpieza de su aspecto que, tras pasar por distintas fases – ahora más minimalista, ahora más moderna, ahora más ligera – no acababa de encajar y presentaba algunas incongruencias.

Windows Live Messenger ofrece pues un aspecto bastante renovado.

No se trata de un cambio radical, pero sí un nuevo enfoque que recuerda, y mucho, a Windows Vista.
